Foundations Core Graduation Trip
This is the graduation trip for those who have completed the Foundation Core program. We encourage all FPC members with a class II+ skill level, to attend this trip to celebrate the accomplishments of the Foundations Core students.

This trip is for families with young paddlers on the Tuckasegee River is coordinated by Judy Putnam. PFDs OK, but need class II experience/skill.

Time: 5PM – 8PM
Come join the FPC family for a dinner and fellowship at Paris Mountain State Park. We’ve reserved Shelter 3 for our gathering of friends and family. Come and meet club members you don’t normally paddle with. The club will provide hamburgers, sausages, and fixings. We ask those coming to bring an appetizer, side dish, or dessert. Last names that begin with A-G please bring an appetizer; H-S a side dish; and T-Z a dessert.
As with all South Carolina Parks, there is an admission fee of $6 for adults and $3.50 for children 6-15.
Chattooga Fest 2026
Chattooga Fest is Foothills Paddling Club's largest paddling event of the year! Every first weekend in May, our members from South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia gather at the Wild and Scenic Chattooga River for paddling and camaraderie. The event runs from Friday evening into Sunday with activities that include social dinners, a fun raffle, and meet-up paddling groups.

WoW: Women on Water Ladies' Paddle
March is Women's History Month and the 2026 theme is “Moving Forward Together, and since March 8 is also International Women's Day, let's celebrate and move forward together down river March 14th!
French Broad River Trip Section 9
